Terms of Service

Using Chamaeleon

By signing up you confirm you are at least 16 years old and agree to use Chamaeleon in line with these terms. The service is provided as-is during the beta; we may add, change, or remove features at any time.

Your content

You retain ownership of what you post — event descriptions, board posts, messages, photos, videos, voice notes. By uploading you grant us a limited license to store and serve it to the recipients you've chosen (event attendees, club members, the user you're messaging, the public for public events).

What's not allowed

No harassment, hate speech, fraud, sexually explicit content, impersonation, spam, or anything illegal in the EU. Repeated violations end with a permanent ban. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

Events and money

Some events charge a fee. For peer-to-peer events between individuals, Chamaeleon is not a party to the financial transaction — payment, refunds, and disputes are between the organizer and the attendee. For professional events (run by verified businesses or organizations), Chamaeleon may act as the merchant of record and retain a service fee on each ticket sold; the applicable fee schedule is shown to organizers at event-creation time. Either way, don't pay for an event whose organizer you don't trust.

Reports and moderation

You can report any user, event, club, or message via the three-dot menu, and block anyone. We aim to review reports within 48 hours during the beta. Reports may lead to content removal or account action. False or repeated bad-faith reports may also be subject to moderation.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings — see the Privacy Policy for what that does. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms or pose a safety risk to other users.

Liability

Chamaeleon is a tool for organizing meetups. You're responsible for your own safety and the consequences of meeting strangers. We aren't liable for what happens at events arranged through the app, to the maximum extent allowed by EU consumer law.
